We have the 730bc save (not 725 as it turns out )

Latins built a new city of "Monica" on their NE coast.

MAST built a new city of "Please move on" north of Temple Mount.

There is a barb warrior N-N of Skewer.

Settler at Chow is complete - where do we send him? I vote for B site unless LL tries to come too close to Kung Pao, then it might be an idea to settle SE or E of Kung Pao.

Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

Looking at the save, LL has got 3 warriors by our Eastern choke area. I'm guessing those are being called home to be turned into Legions. Unless they are planning to attack us with nothing but warriors, which I believe is what the tacticians call "stupid"

Well, we just say that we forgot again - and apologize, and besides we needed at least an extra turn to get units in place. Personally I wonder if we should wait until after LL gets it, in case our estimate is off and we can get to destroy that northern camp.

Override for Planter and Egg Roll: Send Planter SE-S instead and have Egg Roll keep building a temple. This is assuming we start researching soon of course, but I think that's a given; and since we're going to be researching, no benefit to building the market first, but we can get a little more culture with the temple first.

Support Apolyton or Terrorists Win

Hi guys,

I started to play the 610bc turn - starting first with the most crucial issues - moving Butcher NW to see if barbs are around and the galley E-E to see if we see anything (still 1 move left on the galley) (both moves were as per Zargon's instructions btw).

Butcher revealed 2 barb horses NW of him on a hill and 10 more barb horses on a mountain NW-W of Butcher.

Moving the galley E-E, I think that I may be seeing sea beyond the ocean NE-E-E and NE-E-NE of Galley's E-E movement (ie perhaps the other continent or an island) but I am not completely sure . I recall there is a graphics mod that might show this for certain, or if someone else can confirm or deny what I think I am seeing (of course we would still need to move S to get back to the coast this turn).

I have talked about this situation with Unorthodox already as he came in the chatroom soon after I saw these things.

I wonder if we could have a team meeting tonight (Sunday Night in North America) so we can discuss the situation.

I stopped playing the turn after moving those 2 units so the rest of the turn remains unplayed so as to give us maximum freedom to deal with these situations.

Not good...

Rhoth (currently in Pot Sticker) should certainly move S-E, and Tangy (currently in Wonton) should move to Moo-Shu ASAP. Perhaps Pointy too, though that would strip PS of defenses.

I'm worried about Butcher... he'll survive this turn certainly, but I don't think he can survive the larger stack, and I don't think he can outrun it either.

Suffering from ads?

I am guessing that there is a 50-50 chance at worst that Butcher will die - probably much less.

Should we consider waiting a turn , then poprushing a spear at Moo-Shu? Admittedly it would only be a regular spear unfortunately.

One alternative might be to keep Butcher alive is to keep him on the hills/mountains and send him towards the camp - maybe he can bypass the barb horde (yeah I know - unlikely).

We should definitely move a worker to the iron near KungPao in case we need swords or if LL attacks.

Full PM-box? Change here!

Made a few changes and additions to the plan. Yeesh, what happens when you plan while sick... then again, I'm editing while still sick.

BTW, interesting development: iron popped up right under Port Sushi. I'm not sure where it expired from.

Edit: LL still has their source and I think that's the only one that's connected. So it came from the other continent.

Cities:

-Buffet finishes warrior; set build to a warrior. (Sharpe pointed out we have just enough tiles for Buffet to grow to 7, and this would free up another bonus for other cities, like Char Shu or Chop Suey, to use. The downside is less frequent workers out of Buffet - every 10 turns instead of every 5 turns, and 15 turns for the first. But on the other hand, that leaves a little more room for military.)
-Citizen on the bonus SE-SE to the bonus NE-E
-Chow finishes settler; starts another one. WF on Wheat, cattle, and bonuses E and E-NE

570bc turn has arrived:

Good news - Galley hasn't sunk and we lost no units to the barbs last turn it seems

Bad news - We see a LL galley E-E of our galley meaning they have likely contacted Python first (and have a head start to contact the other civs there) and the barbs have moved 7 horsemen and 1 warrior into attack positions near our 2 spear, 1 sword stack - with another 7 horsemen nearby.

That's strange... I didn't get the turn Well, our galley made it, and even if LL beat us there, at least we have the contacts now to, so they won't have a monopoly.
