You fellows really like the sleep function for your garrison troops!!

Interesting ruleset with the AI-Palace dance. This looks like fun.

Taking the save.

Vandals loot the lagomorphic tombs to pay for new Palace.

Arriving at the front gate, they see a note left on the body of a precocious plunderer trapped between a slab and the floor.

"Inside my cloak is the only coin, one greater than any saw during his reign."

Stingy even in death.

Ben Kenobi takes over.

Time to cleanse everything from the Lagomorphia.

Lagomorphia starts the Xin.
Pax STYOM starts the Xin.

Get Git's Hole celebrating

Disband warrior in KenobiKave to celebrate KenobiKave.

Are both those caravans headed to Lagomorphia?

Secondly, you celebrated Lagomorphia at the expense of Git's Hole.

At least through Xinning our tax rate is now 43 gold/turn.
I'll be sure to thank Lagomorphia for their contribution.

Hit enter.

AD 380

French get Astronomy, start Copernicus' Observatory.

Shift workers, I'm going to get Lagomorphia celebrating.
12 Production in Git's Hole, now size 8.

AD 400

Sad King Julius prepped to grow when irrigation finished.

Meet with French, they demand 50 gold tribute, refuse, we stay at war.

KenobiKave rushes temple to continue celebrations.

AD 420

PAX STYOM Spice to Lagomorphia - (after adjusting to increase trade, 84 gold.)

Should be able to get Capital in KenobiKave next turn.

AD 440

KenobiKave now size 6. Sad King Julius requires Harbour to continue celebrations.

PaxSTYOM stops the Xin, resumes normal functioning.

AD 460

Lots of AI discoveries and trades. Chinese also get Astronomy from GL and start Copes.

KenobiKave stops celebrating at 7. Beads to Lagomorphia, 64 gold.

KenobiKave rushes Palace!

Rush Marketplace in Git's Hole

Flip sliders to 70/0/30 to fatten treasury.

AD 480

PAX STYOM builds hides caravan.
Sad King Julius builds Wine caravan.

I'm going to keep cranking out the 'vans... Still at 10 turns/tech.

AD 500

Rush Trireme in Sad King Julius for trade expedition.
Rush Gold caravan in Git's Hole.

AD 520

Spare Oval builds Temple

AD 540

Greeks get Astronomy, build dip in Lagomorphia.

AD 560

Trireme with Wine and Gold launched, headed for Athens (Wine) and Thebes (Gold)

AD 580

Diplomats approach Sparta, request an audience. Greeks demand Monotheism, we object. Steal University Egyptians get University from Great Library.

I have a treasury of 188 gold, so my successor gets some stuff to play with.

All the cities have celebrated out, so I'm just cranking out the 'Vans. I have not started a wonder.

Looking better - I hope Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

Oh Great! - Exactly why I think Marco is an over-rated Wonder - we're at war with half the universe and the other half hates us - we have no great map knowledge and according to the Gods of Darkness we can't even reach the fertile Egyptian lands in safety - even the benighted Oracle would have served us better!! Ah well -- let us see what can be done - ten turns, move Palace, set up Palace for next move, build Mike's - maybe ...

0580 = switch SKJ production to MP in line with aim ii; Palace completed in Git's Hole as per i; troops shuffled so as to provide SKJ with a garrison; Try to make peace with Greeks - they have been talked to already ...; Lagomorphia switches to MP - needed;

0600 = Capital moves to Git's Hole; two tickles; Peace with Greece!
0620 = Lago rushed to Barracks and back to MP to keep treasury low; Gain Seafaring from the Egyptians for Warror Code; Reaffirm peace with Greeks - Greek elephant withdraws;
0640 = Lago rushed to Granary as above; tickles;
0660 = PaxSTYOM starts MP; Lago finishes MP; tickles;
0680 = MP in Lago releases Elvis; PaxStyom rushes to Barracks; tickles;
0700 = PaxSTYOM rushes to Granary; tickles;
0720 = Wine(d), SKJ-Marseilles, 400g ; MPs completed in Pax & SKJ; Science box full; Unpleasant looking catapult blocked by van;
0740 = Medicine->Bridge Building; Gold, Git's Hole-Marseilles, 220g; We have far too much money - hope the neighbours don't come calling...
0760 = Spend money like mad; tickle;
0780 = SKJ builds Harbour, grows, starts Palace; KK builds MP;

We have 6 vans in, near, or on the way to Git's Hole - another van is exploring the hinterland of darkest Greece - it currently reports itself to be 'near Athens' (which IIRC demands hides ); Spare Oval is about to start WLTCD growth, it might need a MP to get anywhere.

There is plenty of money to rush your Palace, Julius, sorry I did not have time to get any shields in the box ...

IMO we should be aiming for peace now, trying to get a big science lead (= better weapons) and then doing our conquer-and-raze act.

Looks like a good sequence of turns, the only city falling behind is Spare Oval , which despite it's low production has been supporting Settlers which have been used to improve the land around SKJ . I hope our next King will attempt to imrove the land around Spare Oval as they are about to change to size 3 and should start celebrations (btw, the Settler is currently standing on a hilltop, overlooking the future site of a hidden special

The hidden special (I think) is in the Grassland to the west of the hill that the settler is "preworking".

I would rather see the settler reforrest the grassland, and then worry about extending the road afterwards.

I think the citizens in Spare Oval are slothful; someone really should get them pulling their weight.

(Seriously, you really do have to look out for your own in this game. Do what I did on my last turn and pull Settlers off other tasks to improve land around your city. )
