Looks like they need us very much as Pactmates and also they think we research SFF. I wonder, why this thought?

I know, in my oppinion a Pact with Morganities now is out of question. If, yes - appropriate preparations should be done.
As for the techs - they assume too much. Better would be question - what we research and not when we get SFF
We can of course get SFF from Lal

It was different to send them that thing pre-accepted, but entering Pact may be more serious. Or is much more serious. Diplomatic consequences would be much more severe.
I can understand though their uneasiness now - they lost their capital and haven't seen the turn yet. They might get over it first, analyse the situation having more time, etc.
I will prepare a note explaining, that we presently do not research the SFF, but we research IntInt? Should we reveal it? What if Morganities can send us IntInt? then we might get another tech here. I have to check possibilities.
I will explain, that we cannot enter Pact now yet too.

Yes, I am curious too. For me it seems like they assume smth, and being in a sort of shock after loss of their capital they take it for granted.
They might also play stupid for us to underestimate them... hmm, not quite likely maybe

I wrote to Chaos Theory and BinTravkin that they are going to receive HEC their next turn.
Also I propose the following message to Spartans:

I already told them that.
This way we avoid misunderstandings though, as to why we "refuse" to trade this tech - simply we do not have it now.
We might get it sooner from Lal then they think...

I thought Morganities speak about missiles in orbital spaceflight. In fact Mead meant SFF. So we should discuss this issue:

So what do you think about it?
Also there is another thing - Spartans may know we exchange techs with Morganities. I think there is a possibility, they might consider a "military raid" to give us a strong signal to stay away from aiding their enemies. I think we should get good military ASAP. I would not be surprised to have some Spartan troops near HG soon.
I think now even about 3 Command Centers making both defensive and offensive units. Let us get these hive units probed. Yang probably will attack anyway. Let us ask Lal for Synthetic fossil fuels when we can. He should aid us hopefully.

We may have little time. I believe Spartans are able to launch an attack within 2-3 turns after making their decision. With what I saw from the map they may cover all world now easily. In 2162 we hurry command center in EM We have the prototype in 2163 or 2164. In 2165 We can be about ready to mass production of plasma units.
I would expect these 4-2-1 of the hive in 2163 in the forest near HG. If we probe the impact, we can attack one of them with succes, I think. We should prepare a better plan for this. But it may be "dense" soon. I would expect hive attack with these 2 4-2-1 units in 2164 if we let it happen.
Impact will/may attack in 2163 the HG base directly
