ICBMs were first developed in the 1950s, in response to newly devleoped anti-aircraft missiles, and Sheep said he was working on it, not that he actualy had them.

Like he said, the US was the only country to come our of WWII with it's economy intact - they had 50% of the world's wealth, for crying out loud. The biggest problem they'd face in achieving all this would be getting Congress to fund it all.

EDIT: And changing to Fascism wouldn't mean kicking him out of NATO, look at Turkey.

How can the United States claim a desire for peace when all it does is threaten war? The U. S. is now running as a facist state as there have been no reelections, and by the 25th ammendment, after the 8th year, a new president, senate, and house should be showing changes... OR... the Americans have become a facist warmongering state, which, based on the American system of government, would only be able to come into power after a massive civil war, which would eliminate or greatly extend any and all research that the U.S. is conducting at this time, as well as cause a reduction in U.S. military forces.

I think that in a government with elections you can assume that the administration will be periodically changed. Its rather pointless and tedious to have to note every time someone is ousted or reelected. Unless someone makes a note that there had been a substantial policy change, it is reasonable to assume that the administration has been reelected or the same party is in power. It really doesn't help anything to note that elections have occured, unless there is an accompanying substantial policy change, which doesn't always happen.
