Lets trade map making for RP's map + literature. Lit is of lower value than map making, therefore we make up the difference with world map.

They will want our map in return...and I would say ours is more valuable than theirs.

Plus, we would probably get almost our entire continent when we gets ND's map. So RP's map is not very valuable. We would want it just to fill in the small gaps, before our next war starts.

Unless of course, if ND sells them their map. Then our map would be almost worthless. We need to check with ND.

And I guess we plan on selling our maps to Vox & GS, in which case, RP could get it from them.

So if we get their WM then great. If we have to do a map swap, then as you say Panzer...MM is more expensive than Lit, and we would like to screw them a bit more. Obviously, we need to see what ND is doing.

I'm sure they got CoL from GS, but I cannot stress enough that we need to iron out trade deals with EVERYONE for our map and Mapmaking in the next 48 hours. This should be the primary goal right now.

Chatting with Togas, Mapmaking for Literature is go. They want to trade World Maps with the contingency that if either of us gets a map trade from GS or Vox we give the map to the other team.

Togas is interested in a Warrior trade deal, and plans to discuss it with his team.

The only reason we would help investigate city would be to make them think we're distrustful of ND, and 10 gold might be worth it (we can also find out a bit of info).

They are likely asking ND for Currency + hefty sum as well.

Are we going to go Republic or Monarchy? We don't need the wonder, so if we are going Republic anyway, this tech is worthless to us. It is not needed for age, not needed for govt or wonder, certainly not worth Const +150.

We can offer both Const and Currency if they want, or just tell them we don't need the tech at all, that we are either going republic or waiting around for Communism to keep the pop rush. Even if we plan to use Monarchy, they need not know that.

I think we should go with Republic, then acquire Monarchy when it is dirt cheap. Our goal is to use suprise swift attacks - a concept I like to refer to as Glitzkrieg (Glory of war bLITZKRIEG). If planned right we should not have to worry about War Weariness.

Yes, I think we should go with Rep. Like I said earlier, WW was either removed or greatly reduced in MP. This would make Monarchy almost totally worthless.

I do like the idea of sharing the cost of investigating a ND city. It make maintains the dislike decption. Additionally, I say we tell ND that we are going to do it. That way they can either move troops in to discourage RP from attacking, or move troops out to entice them into a trap.

Why do we need to waste 10 gold on Arneblanca? I am sick of us paying them gold to do the looking and they keep all the benefits. Why don't they pay us 10 gold, we get ND to send us a screenshot and then we send it to them?

No we don't but I absolutely refuse to support the wasting of gold on silly little roleplay schemes, we are already commited to shelling out a good amount of gold for Monotheism, Republic, Construction, and Currency and I'm sure Roleplay has done the same.

I would tell them we are extremely strapped for cash right now but would be interested in discussing this in around 15 turns.

When all else fails, tell the truth. It is in return for the city from Vox. Sounds stupid, even more so when we disband the damn thing. Plus it shifts the 'blame' to Vox.

Perhaps we can even contact GS and let them know it is an arrangement of 6 horse only. Let them know we don't want them destroyed, and we will leave if they help make it look like we held up our end by giving us 2 cities, we will then tell Vox our horses are expended and leave...or arrange for a counter attack on Vox with those same 6 horse from the rear...just to keep that war fair and close...

It would all depend on how bad GS is losing at that point.

Turn 105 = 470bc with my calculations. About 14 turns away. Of course, we will need to delay with this deal. We could delay for a while, but then maybe we just tell RP 'no'.

This, of course, brings up the issue of when are we going to start researching chivalry. This can start as soon as we get feudalism from GS, which can be in 2 turns if we give GS 100g + 5 gpt accepted nest turn. We are having a chat with ND on Monday? Good. We need to talk about timing, as well as splitting the continent once we have finished Roleplay.
